So tell me, ...do you need a brand? The short answer? YES.

The long answer?
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!

Just kidding—sort of 😉.

Many new entrepreneurs are hesitant to invest much energy into building their brand because they don't think they’re brand-worthy.

They think that brands are for the big guys and not for little ol’ them.

Plus, the ROI from a brand builds over time so it’s not that instant triple shot macchiato of results.

Nah...it’s more like that feeling on the porch of your beach Airbnb freshly showered after a day at the beach, sipping an icy cold bev with the evening sun warm on your skin as you watch the sunset. 🍹☀️🌴

Meaning it feels really good. And easy.

But building a brand is more than picking a logo, color scheme, and favorite font. It's about knowing – and unapologetically owning – your value and how you uniquely deliver the results and impact.

When you know that, you know:

⚡ How you compete
⚡ How you’re different
⚡ Who you want to invite into your business
⚡ How you can help
⚡ How you do that thing you do

Because you are the only you out there, my dear.

And that makes you your best competitive advantage. And if you don’t believe me, maybe you’ll listen to Brad Pitt:

This is Brad Pitt accepting an Oscar. And also telling you that you're a one of a kind. Thanks, Brad!

Without a brand, you're completely missing out on all this marketing mojo that makes it so much easier to attract more customers and grow your business.

So, where to start on your brand-building expedition?

Dig into your differentiators.

Take a look at the other guys out there who do what you do and make a list of at least 5 things that are different about you or your business and the way you achieve results. And then highlight those in your content and on your website.

And here's a double-dog-dare:

Produce content for your marketing that starts with, “What makes me different from the other guys out there is….” and ends with those 5 differentiators you discovered in your research.

Pro tip: Keep the tone positive – you’re not to trash any competition, ever – just focus on how you’re different and why that matters.

As always, rooting for you - the all-original, one-of-a-kind, uniquely you…you! 💖💖💖
